Greetings from the blondishness of Sweden! (even though natural blondes are rarer than you would expect.)
I've never been a devoted fan... I always drift from one artist to the other depending on my mood. I think it's because I like music how I like my food: Variated. But with you it's different! I can truly relate to you and your music!
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think you're lyrics may be the best I personally have ever heard. and I LOVE your new album even though it's very different from the album before in both mood and feel. It's DEFINITELY worth buying! "Fear and Loathing" speaks to me in ways you *would understand. But I digress (I could probably write an essay on why you're so awesome.) I wish you a wonderful career. Keep at it! You're amazing!

I just want to cry when I listen to it. (actually, tears just came. YES)
the song perfectly shows what society has made teenagers to feel like, all these conflicting feelings.
look at me, I'm sitting here and I've been dissatisfied the whole evening, mourning another wasted weekend.
most of the time, I'm like "get over it and grow up" but there are times like these where I think about it, where I say, why am I that way? why can I never be satisfied? why am I such an egoistic person deep, deep inside, so deep that I am not on the outside? it all makes perfect sense right now. The Great Gatsby + Are You Satisfied?, Hollywood, Teen Idle and Living Dead are my life. Illusions are everywhere, they creep into our heads when we're lonely and the stay there, getting bigger and bigger as we dwell on until we know, deep inside, that our expecations can not be met anymore anyways.

Marina, you cannot imagine how refreshing is to hear such an artist (good to use that word properly) when the world of music became so full of emptiness and and the meaning of the term "artist" became a synonym of "someone seen on television" or something like that.

I still feel a bit sorry for those who says they like you but, in fact, don't understand you really. I hope you can change it slowly.

You have written the perfect pop album, Marina. I can't stop listening to the whole "Electra Heart" LP. "Power and Control" has such unbelievable power over me. Too many gems to mention.
