@anja - Backing here meant the instruments. If I meant backing voclas most probably I'd have included the word "vocals". Sorry for my terseness. :D As I understood Radioactive, Marina came up with the tune and somebody suggested mixing it with the more electronic arrangement.

When Marina makes extensive, thought provoking, amazing blogs that showcase an irresistible attention to detail, the comments follow suit and I love that. An excellent example is her very first blog post. From the first time I read that epic and truly fascinating post and participated in the commentary I knew I wanted to stay with this. I love it because I always feel that original feeling that I felt about her music when I go back and read it. The way I feel about the music has greatly evolved since then but the point is, that's the kind of environment I love. I love when people with ideas worth hearing share their truth so we can compare them with ours. Situations like that are always interesting. I might not always chime in but I love reading all of your good ideas and points of view. That seems to happen just during the posts when Marina sets the example and writes something that bares how she feels to the world in so much amazing detail. I crave for her to be that honest and vulnerable again. It's so real and it's what I love about her most of all. It just means so much more to me than anything else she does

@marinafan77 I think where people have got muddled is that some tracks on the album have had a higher degree of post-production input and some recent tracks like Radioactive had backing which came from other musicians. Primadonna is closer to the sound Marina has on other songs than say were F & L and Radioactive.

@Marinafan77 of course she wrote it herself. this song has MARINA written all over it. maybe she had co-writers, don't know, but look at these lyrics.. definitely written by Marina. people talk lots of stuff on the Internet, ya know :)
