I'm pretty surprised you've remembered how to write with a pen, all this tweeting/facebooking has left me needing somebody to write in yellow felt tip pens for me to trace through the center of with pencil. Furthermore, you would believe I was a 5 year old due to my reliance upon spellchecker. The moral of this story? You're a better man than I x
Yeah, I was disappointed that your older blogs were deleted as I felt they had more of your personality in them... and as "personal" as a handwritten (scanned) letter might seem, I can't help but worry your record company won't exactly be encouraging of non-mainstream opinions, but I guess that's in your court to prove me wrong. I hope you do.
So glad you want to keep this up. I was actually thinking that you might feel you should stop 'all that blogging stuff' now you were being 'launched'. Obvs I should have had more faith. Funny you say you want to create something of value - I think a lot of Diamonds loved those older blogs. But you're starting a new chapter, so why not start with a blank page? So many Diamonds seem worried that they're going to lose something now you're becoming 'big'. I can sympathise - Diamondsville is a special place. Feel like we need to give it protected status, put up barbed wire, make some diamond-branded tasers, mount patrols. Keep the predators out. But that's only a small part of me. Most of me is really happy to see you getting where you want to be. And this is only just the beginning. Richard p.s. Schoolboy fact hailing from GCSE maths circa 1988. Number 12 (in decimal) is number 11 in base 11. So you actually got two elevens yesterday. Perhaps I've been watching too much Lost ...
Hello Marina Can we have the next communication from you via photographed Semaphore, please? Like the `Help!' album cover. I was very impressed with your Ross performance. Very slick. :) Much love x
I love that you're handwriting your blog now! Handwriting is so much more personal no matter how messy it is (i should know :) ) I cannot wait for Family Jewels to arrive in the post! I really hope you carry on doing so well. Love, Rose xx
Marina! Thanks for the letter - I love it!! Well done for getting to number 12. I am sure that "Hollywood" will be well inside that Top Ten next week. You deserve all the success you are having. I can't wait to hear "The Family Jewels" and I look forward to seeing you at the Bloomsbury Ballroom on the 19th May. Love, Mike x (I saved the images of the letter in my documents and opened them with windows picture and fax viewer; and zoomed in! I can read it fine!)
Blimey, bit small! Thats quality, such an original idea, and its much much more personal than just hitting a few letters on a keyboard. I think that could be the future! Btw shame Hollywood missed out on 11th place as you wished - close but not cigar....!
i love it! so personal :) your stickers are amazingly cool it doesnt look like its been written by a 5 year old btw. you ccan keep this up love so so so so muchAlice x
It's too tiny and my eyes are too bad, I can't see it!! I even pulled my laptop up to my face and I couldn't read half of it, lol.
Nice! A new approach! Don't write too much though or else you'll get cramp in your hand. :) looking forward to more posts!!
LOVEEE YOUUUU, LOVE HOLLYWOOD!Please keep in touch, why not aim to be the first star who stands up to negatives of fame and try and keep in direct contact with your fans =)
Well that's amazing! Though the images are a little bit too small. Readable thought, but just.
I love this letter! so personal.. thanks :) we love you!
