Having officially kicked off her world tour with Coldplay Monday night in Toronto, Marina and the Diamonds has spoken to SoundSpike about the excitement of touring with one of the world's biggest bands.

Last Tuesday and Wednesday, Marina brought her Electra Heart persona to Los Angeles's Fonda Theatre and The Fillmore of San Francisco.

Needless to say, local papers were quick to take note of Marina's stylish, high-octane performances. In their review, SF Weekly declared that "there's really nothing else like Marina & the Diamonds live. It's beautiful and kooky and cartoonish and theatrical. It's pop and melodrama intermingled until you don't know the difference."
